Amara Leggett Is Shining Brightly and She’s Not Stopping Anytime Soon
AMARA SHARES HER JOURNEY ON BEING AN AUTHOR, A YOUNG BUSINESS WOMAN, AND A COLLEGE GRADUATE AT 16 YEARS OLD.
We’re living in a time when so much has changed in our world. It’s easy to get distracted and lose hope. When I find inspiration I must share it with the world.
Please meet 19 year old entrepreneur, Amara Leggett from Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. She is a Speaker, Author and also known as A Young Legend.
A Young Legend is also her brand that offers Consulting and Digital Services.
Amara is also the CEO of Dual Enrollment Co. which serves as an informational business to help students navigate Dual Enrollment to receive a free or reduced college education while in high school with product releases coming soon. I’ve been following her for a couple of years now and she’s certainly legendary. I’m excited and humbled that she’s taken time out of her busy schedule to join us in Girl Talk Suite!

What makes your brand unique?
Amara:
My brands are unique because it solves a niche that no other business has pursued before. A Young Legend teaches people how to build a brand (personal brand or business) to attract success (more business opportunities or job positions). Dual Enrollment Co. provides resources to students pursuing the Dual Enrollment program.
When did you get started?
Amara:
I have been in business since March of 2017, so 3 years.
How did you get started?
Amara:
I started my first business by understanding the resources I had to build a brand, which was $0.99 and an obsession for business. I launched my blog in March of 2017 to document my journey as I graduated high school and college at 16. Once I graduated I had the chance to deliver a TEDx Talk about lessons learned from graduating, how to develop a plan and make the impossible possible which is almost at 10K views on YouTube. This opportunity launched my speaking career and got me my first job. In less than 1 year, I went from a TEDx Speaker to a corporate speaker that has traveled the country. Then, I launched my book, The Strategic Mind of A Young Legend to help others build a brand from the ground up. Now, I am 19 and always changing as the demand from my influence grows.
What inspires you?
Amara:
What inspires me is building a legacy and generational wealth. It sounds cliche but these ideas were going around in my head at 13 years old before I knew that others were trying to achieve this too.
What else would you like for us to know?
Amara:
I would love The Girl Talk Suite to be the first place that I share my next steps for 2020 and beyond. First, I am graduating again with my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at 19 years old and I am pursuing a career in Cyber Security. Second, I am excited to say I will be releasing digital products on Ayounglegend.com to aid people in building their brand and will be adding more free guides in my Resource Library.
